The M1240A1 M-ATV (MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle) is a highly mobile, heavily armored vehicle developed for U.S. and allied forces operating in challenging combat zones.
Designed to provide enhanced crew survivability against IEDs, small arms fire, and landmines, the A1 variant incorporates improved suspension, upgraded powertrain, and increased payload capacity.
This particular version is fitted with the RPG Net System, a lightweight, cage-like armour designed to pre-detonate rocket-propelled grenades before they strike the vehicle’s main armour, which significantly improves protection against shaped-charge attacks, commonly encountered in asymmetric warfare environments.
With seating for four soldiers and a gunner, the M1240A1 combines MRAP-level protection with off-road agility, making it ideal for patrols, convoy security, and rapid reaction roles in rugged terrain.
