he Beemax Porsche 911 Paris Dakar Winner 1984 is a highly detailed 1/24 scale model kit recreating one of the most remarkable victories in rally history. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 4×4, internally known as the Type 953, this model represents the car that conquered the gruelling 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally and proved that a Porsche sports car could master one of the world’s toughest off-road endurance events.
Developed specifically for the Dakar Rally, the Porsche 953 combined the familiar 911 silhouette with an advanced four-wheel-drive system, raised suspension and reinforced chassis to cope with thousands of kilometres of desert tracks, rocky terrain and extreme conditions. The success of the 953 would later pave the way for the legendary Porsche 959 and its advanced all-wheel-drive technology.
