Description
Following the earlier release of HMS Royal Oak, a Revenge or R Class Battleship, Trumpeter have released one of her four sisters, HMS Resolution, as depicted in the Indian Ocean in 1942, accompanied by the aircraft carrier HMS Formidable, with stunning box art from Randall Wilson. The main differences with the Royal Oak, apart from the colour scheme, was the provision of additional anti-aircraft armament and the arrangement of Carley floats etc, as well as the distinctive raked funnel cap.
The kit contains 13 sprues, plus hull & deck, plus two extensive sheets of photo etch parts. A Walrus seaplane is also included. L: 540 mm, W: 88.9 mm, Total parts 610+
