The M1 Super Sherman was Israel’s early Cold War upgrade of the classic WWII-era Sherman.
Based on the M4A1 hull with the later HVSS suspension for improved cross-country performance, this variant featured the American 76mm M1 gun in a revised turret for better firepower.
